Items are already accumulating in the Peterson lost and found located in the cafeteria. If your student is missing an item, you might remind them to look here. You are also welcome to check in with the office and we can help you take a look as well.
Hello Week - Spirit Week
During the week of September 19th through the 23rd we will be celebrating with a spirit week that encourages kindness, inclusion, connectedness and gratitude.
“Start with Hello” week, or Hello Week, is part of a nationwide movement to teach students how to create a culture of caring and connectedness. In their classes, children learn leadership skills and build character. Hello Week focuses on strategies to help peers and grow community.
Some questions to ask your student:
How does it feel performing a random act of kindness, both as the giver and the receiver?
What is something you appreciate about your class or school family?
What is something you are grateful for?
