I’ve attached a PDF with some tips regarding technology use. As parents raising kids in this new era of internet connection, social media, gaming, and online videos, we really are blazing a new trail. There’s not a clear example yet for how to do this right, and the technology regarding child safety with this technology is not yet fully developed for parents to easily manage.
I suggest that parents of elementary and middle school children don’t rush in to buying devices for their kids. Avoid personal devices with access to a browser and choose a smartwatch instead if texting and calling is needed. Avoid social media until they are much older. When technology is used, use it for learning or as a shared activity.

Thank a Teacher
Now is a great time to thank a teacher. One way that we are doing this is with a short note from you via a postcard. We have postcards in the office. Fill one out and we will deliver it to the proper teacher during the upcoming teacher appreciation week. Have your student grab a postcard from the office, or stop in and grab a few yourself.
